Return to Work Policy


DeMartini Fletcher is committed to providing a safe workplace for all employees. The welfare of our employees, contractors, customers, visitors, and the general public is our priority. 

We believe that any injured or ill employee should be provided an injury or illness management plan inclusive of opportunities and a strategy to return to work. 

To achieve the objectives of our policy we will: 

  • Comply with all legislative requirements related to Workplace Health and Safety. 
  • Ensure Workplace Health and Safety systems are in place to effectively manage safety and health and that in the event of a workplace injury or illness that a Return to Work procedure can be implemented. 
  • Consult with all workers to ensure they understand that they have a personal responsibility to report injury or illness and to participate in developing an injury or illness management plan inclusive a return to work strategy. 
  • Ensure that in the event of an injury or illness initial first aid is available, and that injury and illness management commences with an appropriate practitioner at the earliest opportunity. 

Ensure all injuries and illnesses and management of them are reported and recorded on the appropriate forms.
