First Aid Policy

DeMartini Fletcher is committed to providing a safe workplace for all employees. The welfare of our employees, contractors, customers, visitors, and the general public is our first priority. We believe that any incidents, injury, or illness requiring first aid must be managed in the appropriate manner and for the ongoing welfare on our workers. 

All accidents are preventable, and that good safety is good for our business. Our reputation and profitability depend upon our ability to manage our operations safely. 

To achieve the objectives of our policy we will: 

• Ensure sufficient first aid supplies are available on site. 
  

• Ensure workers know the name and contact details of the First Aid Officer(s) on site and the location of first aid kits. 

Ensure incidents, injuries and illnesses requiring first aid are reported to the Manager for follow up action and recorded on the appropriate forms.
